A: Yes. DMF foundation is a 501c3 and your donation is fully tax deductible. Even a portion of your registration fee is deductible, you can email email@example.com if you need a receipt for a portion that is deductible for example. A golf registration fee might be $200, the “cost” to the golf course and the portion returned to you in goods and services may be $175 (your golf, and food, and drinks etc.), making $25 your net donation. However, if you make a straight donation say $200, that is 100% deductible.

A: Yes you can request a refund for an unused registration just contact the foundation and make the request and it will be processed.

A: A potential beneficiary needs to:
- Have Cancer or Be Dealing with the Financial burden of having just beaten cancer.
- They must be willing to open about their situation and being our beneficiary. They can’t be anonymous, this is because we believe in Transparency and showing our supporters where the money goes.
- The applicant must be willing to share records and personal financial data to demonstrate the financial impact of cancer on them and their family.
